A Focus on Beautiful Haitian Art Around Every Corner

What started as a piece of land and an idea by Haitian brothers Chris and Stanley Handel, is now the location of the first branded hotel in Haiti. Best Western Premier Haiti is a completely custom 7 story, 106 room hotel overlooking the Port Au Prince Bay. The hotel includes 2,500 square feet of meeting and event space, including conference/meeting room, a full service restaurant, exterior pool with terrace, full bar and spa.

The hotel boasts a mid-century modern design with bold pops of color and a focus on beautiful Haitian art around every corner. With uncompromising attention to detail, each area offers amenities to guarantee that every guest feels at home throughout their stay. Our designers had the pleasure of working with a local Haitian art consultant to help source all of the artwork within the hotel. All pieces were created by local artisans to showcase their craft and blend the culture of Haiti throughout the spaces.

The Best Western came to represent each individual and highlighted not only to the local community, but to the global audience, that Haiti might be financially poor, but culturally rich. And talented.
