Stacy V. Elliston
Stacy Elliston co-founded Studio 11 Design with the ambition to create a boutique firm where the principals could be involved in every aspect of the design process. With an affinity for maintaining budgets and adhering to timelines, she draws on three decades of diverse experience working with clients such as MGM Mirage, Marriott, Starwood, IHG, Fairmont Hotels and Resorts and more. Most recently, Stacy led the firm’s completion of Vermont’s historic Equinox Resort: Luxury Golf & Spa Resort in Manchester, VT and the debut of The Daytona, Autograph Collection.
Stacy’s multidisciplinary design repertoire and a rich network developed throughout the years have seen the firm grow by leaps and bounds. Founded in 2011, Studio 11 Design has experienced continued success over the years with 2018 marking the firm’s most impressive year of growth to date under Stacy’s diligent leadership. In addition to driving the firm’s growth, she most enjoys leading projects that challenge the team to find the tension between spontaneity and rigor, refinement and rebellion. Among her colleagues, Stacy is admired for her thoughtful, detailed approach and ability to direct and inspire a cohesive vision for every project.
Under Stacy’s leadership, Studio 11 Design and the firm’s clients have achieved a number of awards such as the AHEAD Awards, the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards, Gold Key Awards, Hotel Management’s Top Design Firm, Carlson Rezidor’s Renovation of the Year recognition and many more.
Beyond her legacy within the Studio 11 Design team, Stacy has established herself as a pillar in the local design community. As Dallas’ burgeoning arts and design culture have continued to grow, Stacy has gained a foothold as one of the city’s foremost designers and mentors. Recent recognitions include being named a NEWH College of Fellows inductee for 2019 and a Silver Stevie Award recipient of the Maverick of the Year title.
Prior to co-founding Studio 11 Design, Stacy served as a Principal at RDH & Associates Inc., an architectural and design firm focused on the gaming industry following a stint at Wilson & Associates. She graduated with honors from the Art Institute of Dallas and remains dedicated to inspiring young designers through her position on her alma mater’s advisory board, where she guides the hospitality design curriculum. Stacy continues to chair Dallas’ Make A Wish Night in support of their fundraising goals.
