A unique opportunity for a hotel to embrace its reputation for performing and visual arts

Located in downtown Sarasota, Florida, Art Ovation has become a beacon of the local arts community. The goal was to bring to life Sarasota’s eclectic, artistic spirit and create inspired spaces that celebrate the destination’s reputation as being a center for performing and visual arts. In designing the 162-room property, the focus was on creating a base palette to celebrate the hotel’s various shows and events. The lobby of the hotel includes an onsite artist studio while the Perspective Rooftop Bar is home to live music programming. The art-focused narrative is carried through to guest rooms with a dramatic juxtaposition of a dark and light color palette, specially selected artwork for each room, and entertaining extras such as sketchbooks and musical instruments.
