an attitude that is distinctly Generator

Situated in the heart of Washington D.C., Generator D.C.’s design offered a significant opportunity to define a hotel category that feels fresh and exciting to the U.S. market. Lou Verne sourced artistic additions that pay homage to the neighborhood’s DNA, while incorporating an attitude that is distinctly Generator, evoking a spirited twist on politicians of bygone eras. Through the design of the uniquely configured guest rooms and public spaces, the property epitomizes a new breed of a hotel experience for the city during one of its most relevant political times.

Dallas- and New York-based Studio 11 Design was responsible for the interiors and “brought to life Generator’s distinctive ethos with an artful twist that challenges the destination’s sensibility,” says cofounder and principal Kellie Sirna.
