Modern Oaxacan Flair in The Stockyards
Paloma Suerte is a hidden gem nestled in the historic mule barns of Fort Worth’s Mule Alley, where old-world charm meets vibrant modernity. Drawing inspiration from the rich architectural heritage of Oaxaca, Mexico, this space seamlessly blends traditional materials with bold Mexican colors to create a dynamic and inviting atmosphere.
The design showcases Spanish tiles, reclaimed barn wood, exposed brick, Spanish plaster, and decorative cinderblocks, creating a textured backdrop that is brought to life with playful pops of color. A striking deconstructed piñata, suspended within the expansive double-height dining area, serves as a memorable focal point. Banquettes wrapped in authentic Mexican blankets add a burst of color, while thoughtfully placed greenery enhances the warmth and vibrancy of the space.
Locally sourced pottery, elegantly displayed beneath the stairs, sets the tone for guests as they enter, while the distinctive feature stairway and historic lift cage provide access to an exclusive, members-only club tucked away in the mezzanine.
Step outside to embrace the lively atmosphere of Mule Alley, where outdoor dining options offer views of the stream, and cocktails can be enjoyed beneath a century-old tree adorned with strands of deconstructed piñata for a perfect Instagrammable moment.
Paloma Suerte is more than a restaurant; it’s an immersive celebration of culture, design, and cuisine, inviting guests to experience the best of both history and modern Mexican flair.
