Design rooted in Nashville's 1960s legacy

The Countrypolitan Nashville made its mark on historic Printer’s Alley with the recent lobby and guestroom renovation.  There’s a resurgence of the era and the lobby embraces this ideal.  The historic bank building maintained its hand applied plaster molding details and received paint, lighting and furniture enhancements to merge the historic building’s significance with an untouched music era of Nashville- Countrypolitan.

Let us buy you a drink and tell you a story of how the 1960s Countrypolitan era layers are used to create a design impact in the lobby and guestrooms.  Saturated hues, rich leathers and velvets, and locally sourced antiques and vintage accessories create a new lobby experience for guests.  An efficient design is achieved with a wraparound reception desk that becomes the lobby bar.  The lobby seating blends with the restaurant.  The restaurant transforms into a performance space for musicians.  All these functions are connected to a 1960s era design vernacular seen in the furniture and art selections.

In the guestrooms, a lighter architectural envelope is accented with saturated colors from the lobby.  Period piece furniture silhouettes create a residential ambiance for guests.  A new bathroom experience and storage solutions will excite each traveler to extend their stay one more night.

Just like the lobby, you won’t want to check out from your stay at the Countrypolitan.

As seen in Hotel Management.

Converted from an old bank building, Studio 11 Design’s reimagination of Hotel Indigo preserved the structure’s prewar details while modernizing it for today’s traveler.
