Staying True to the Biophillic Principals

Local design inspiration is drawn from layered and repeated sinuous, curvilinear lines that continuously appear throughout Pasadena and celebrate the organic brand direction that is Westin. The guest rooms and corridors’ color palettes and materiality stay true to the biophilic principals. Room types are similar by sharing the idea of contemporary design with historical tenor mixed with natural elements influenced by nature, yet vary from one another with individual tones and hues. Guest room window blinds feature the outline of the silhouette of City Hall, while the corridor carpet’s meandering path design allows for guests to flow freely from elevator to rooms.

The new design includes many custom features evoking the local geography.
